Hank FeldmanHank is a film composer, performing artist, conductor, author and the Director of Arts Education for the Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation (www.famefoundation.org), a non profit education organization which is has been recognized as successful by the National Endowment for the Arts. He is the former Associate Director of Bands and Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of Arizona. He performs primarily in Latin, Jazz, Rock and Ethnic styles. He can be heard on 2 solo CD’s, Vida Rica and Tubesia both available at www.cdbaby.com. As a film composer (www.imdb.com and www.hankfeldman.com), he composes and orchestrates for vaious independent production companies including TGTG films (www.tgtgfilms.com), 110 in the Shade Productions (www.110intheshadeproductions.com) and a Latino Consortium led by actor Enrique Castillo of HBO’s Weeds. Hank was also the composer for the TV pilot based on the late Robert Jordan’s best selling fantasy books, the Wheel of Time. His most recent film as a composer is Cruzando written by Helen Hayes Award Winner Michael Escamilla (www.cruzandothefilm.com). Additionally he conducts 4 - 5 musicals a year for the CYT youth production company in Tucson, Arizona. His first published book Living Like a Child is being released in June, 2010 by Redleaf Press and is an Artitic and Holistic guide for the teachers and parents of young children. His wife, pianist Marie Sierra, enjoy the many pleasure of life with their two children, Nicky (11) and Samantha (15). |
