The Flatirons Brass Quintet

The Flatirons Brass Quintet is the performing graduate brass group at the University of Colorado at Boulder. All members are either Master's candidates or Doctoral candidates in the CU school of music. In 2009 The Flatirons Brass Quintet were prize winners at the internationally recognized Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. The current members of Flatirons Brass are; Derek McDonald, Trumpet, Sarah Stoneback, Trumpet, Kevin Lam, French horn, Ryan Van Glider, Trombone and Aaron Tindall, Tuba/Euphonium. Each individual brings unique experience and accomplishments in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings to the ensemble. The Flatirons Brass performs an expansive and diverse range of repertoire from Johann Sebastian Bach to Jan Bach and beyond.
