Elden Brass Quintet
The Elden Brass Quintet is the faculty brass quintet of the Northern Arizona University School of Music. NAU faculty members Stephen Dunn (trumpet), Nancy Sullivan (horn), David Vining (trombone/euphonium) and Alexander Lapins (tuba/euphonium) are joined by Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra principal trumpeter Cindy Gould in this stylistically diverse and engaging ensemble. The Elden Brass Quintet performs regularly in and around Flagstaff, as well as giving recitals and clinics throughout the southwest United States. This performance at ITEC 2010 immediately follows a tour to several universities and conservatories along the east coast of China, and includes a virtuosic tuba feature composed in 1999, along with two new works commissioned by the Elden Brass Quintet.
