River Bottom Quartet
The River Bottom Quartet is a fresh new addition to the world of brass chamber music. Comprised of the euphonium and baritone section from the River City Brass Band, the group uses various combinations of euphonium, baritone and tuba to perform a wide variety of musical styles. The River Bottom Quartet performs a fast paced, entertaining and humorous program that is enjoyed by both casual fans and serious musicians. Their concert repertoire includes Bach, concert overtures, modern jazz, original compositions and everything in between. In an effort to expand the library of brass repertoire, the group performs many of their own arrangements and also commissions works to be arranged for them. The River Bottom Quartet has performed at a variety of venues, including several universities, music festivals and prestigious conferences throughout the United States.
