Salt River Brass

Founded by its musicians in January 1988, the Salt River Brass has thrilled audiences in the Arizona's finest concert venues, received honors in three North American Brass Band Association competitions, and presented a critically acclaimed concert series in the Phoenix metro area for 22 years. The band has performed with Peter Wilson, Harry Watters, Dan Bukvich, Philip Smith, Phillip McCann, Roger Webster, Robert and Nicholas Childs, Steven Mead, Ray Farr, and Geoffrey Brand. The ensemble presents a six concert season at the Mesa Arts Center as well as a variety of other performances throughout the year. Most recently - the band performed for the 2009 Kappa Kappa Psi/Tau Beta Sigma National Convention. The band is lead by Music Director, Patrick Sheridan, and Associate Music Director, Sam Pilafian.
