ITEA shall foster bonds among all tuba and euphonium players, create enthusiasm for the instruments and its performers, celebrate diversity, support professional development, promote the sharing of resources, and encourage teaching and learning about the instruments.

COMPETITIONS

Competitions will occur on Thursday, May 9th, and Friday, May 10th, 2024. There are no pre-recorded preliminary rounds for any of the competitions, but you must pre-register for SERTEC by May 1st, 2024. For the ensemble competition, all members must register as competitors. The latest competition information, including eligibility, is available at https://www.sertec2024.com/competitions

The lastest SERTEC schedule is now available at https://www.sertec2024.com/schedule All visitors are requested to use parking meters or obtain a permit from the Parking and Transportation Services office at 205 City View Drive or print a visitor pass at https://mtsu.t2hosted.com ;visitor permits are $2 per day.

INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION

Registration fees

  • Regular – $60
  • Invited Presenter/Performer – $50
  • Student – $35 (rate if not competing in a competition)
  • Competitor – $35 (if competing in more than one competition, you must pay an additional $35 per competition)
  • Vendors Register directly with the conference host

Competition Registration closes MAY 1st, 2024

COMPETITION REGISTRATION

Click on a competition below to read details and submit your entry. If the competition has a preliminary, recorded round, you will be notified if you have progressed to the second, live round. You might then be eligible for a reduced conference registration fee.
